Bruised Heart, Bruised Arse (2017)

This film was made in direct response to the public response my earlier film work Crying Girl (2016) had received, after I was cruelly targeted by old high school peers who started a campaign to get the video removed from online. I wanted to examine online vitriol and the agency anonymous commenters feel they have over you, whether well-intentioned or not. I invited friends and peers to read aloud comments I had received online, as well as comments received by voluntary participants, to inform the soundtrack to the work, ranked from most innocuous to most sadistic.
